AI in BDM
Most BD and marketing teams are already paying for Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, Harvey, or Legora. Almost none of them have built anything specific to their workflow. This workshop changes that in half a day.
Your BD and marketing team spends meaningful time on work that does not require a senior professional. Pitch research, proposal first drafts, content creation, contact record updates, event follow-up, campaign copy, matter descriptions: the list is long, and everyone knows it.
Your BDM team has the tools. In half a day, you build something with them.
What happens in the room
Three things happen in this session.
You map your highest time-burden, lowest strategic value BD and marketing activities.
Not in theory: your actual workflow, your actual pain points.
You choose the right tool for each job.
The boundaries between platforms do not matter. What matters is the fit between the task and the tool.
You build.
Working agents, prompt templates, and repeatable workflows. By the time you leave, you have something you can use the next morning.
Tools we work with
Your facilitator
Stijn van Oirschot has spent years building AI tools specifically for legal BD and marketing teams. Not as pilots. Not as proof of concepts. As operational systems that run every day. He brings that practical depth directly into the room and helps your team build the same.
This is not a workshop about what AI could do for a law firm. It is a session where you build what AI does for your firm, using the tools you already have.
Who it is for
BD directors, marketing managers, and fee-earners who want to reclaim meaningful hours without waiting for a firm-wide AI strategy to arrive.
If your firm already has an AI subscription collecting dust, this session is for you.
Ready to build?
Sessions run in small groups of eight. Get in touch to discuss dates and whether the format fits your team.
Half-day intensive. Maximum eight participants. Working sessions only — no lectures, no slides, no theory. Bring a laptop and a list of the work you are most tired of doing. The small group size is deliberate: the work is specific to your team, your tools and your workflow, and the session cannot run at scale and still produce anything useful.
What the Session Includes
- A completed map of your highest time-burden BD and marketing activities and where AI fits
- Working AI agents and prompt templates built to your specific workflow
- A practical framework for adding more automations over time
- Clarity on which tools to use for which jobs, without the vendor noise
