    Global Cohort 2026

    Starts September 15

    The Growth Programme

Not every lawyer should be a rainmaker

    The Law Firm Growth Game

A structured 6-month development journey for 30 selected new and aspiring partners who want to grow with intent. Build your international network, find your north star, and create an actionable plan — guided by experts who understand the business of law.

    The assumption is broken

Growth in a law firm is often discussed as if it should look the same for everyone. The assumption is that every lawyer should originate work, network in the same way, and pursue growth using a single model. In reality, that approach is neither realistic nor effective.

Sustainable growth comes from clarity. Clarity about who should be driving growth, how they should do it, and how individual strengths can be used intentionally rather than forced into a one-size-fits-all expectation.

The Growth Programme is designed to help lawyers move away from generic growth pressure and towards a more focused, self-aware approach.

    What you will achieve

    Build your international referral network

Connect with a curated group of partners from different firms and jurisdictions. Maximum two lawyers per jurisdiction — no competitors, only collaborators.

Create clarity about your north star

Through certified Hogan assessments, data-driven self-awareness, and guided reflection, discover how you naturally drive growth — and where to focus.

    Create your actionable business plan

Beyond Billable Hours — The Growth Accelerator for Lawyers by Barbara Koenen-Geerdink

    Built on the book

Beyond Billable Hours — launching June 2026

The Growth Programme is built on the principles described in Beyond Billable Hours, written by Barbara Koenen-Geerdink with contributions from the entire facilitator team.

The book draws on real experience from working inside and alongside international law firms, and focuses on building growth that is intentional, commercially grounded, and aligned with how law firms actually operate.

Every participant receives a copy of the book as part of their start-kit, along with exclusive access to the expert interviews featured in the book.
